First of all….SUMMER IS HERE!! And the best part? The weather actually feels like summer too.
It’s been a busy week this week but it’s also been a good, productive one. I’ve been able to keep up on school work and yesterday I spent a few hours with our oldest boys making their birthday cakes for their joint party tomorrow. I can’t wait to share pics with you next week! I recently started a tradition where we make the kids’ birthday cakes instead of buying them. I let them pick the flavor, design, colors, etc. It’s so fun!

One of my favorite pieces of mail recently is my June Julep box! I love that you are able to preview what’s coming next before being charged. They also let you skip months if you aren’t interested in what’s coming. Anyway, here’s a snapshot of my June Julep box:

There was also a “DD creme” that came with it and I thought it was complete crap. At least for my skin type. I have a BB cream that I really like but the one I received in this box just didn’t do anything for me.

Next up, I finally started a newsletter! I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time and finally just forced myself to sit down and get it started. Turns out, when you really put your mind to something, you can get it done!

I’m still getting acquainted with everything but will continue to share more with you as I learn more. I’m all about doing what I can to share my fitness journey with others. Our journeys may not be the same, but all journeys are inspiring and you never know how yours will impact somebody else. Your journey may inspire somebody to start a journey of their own.
In some other quick news, I will be starting Shaun T’s brand new Focus T25 program in July and I can’t wait! This workout consists of 5 daily workouts per week that are just 25 minutes long. If you’ve seen any of Shaun T’s workouts you know that those 25 minutes will be WORK. I’m a huge fan of short, intense workouts. I’m really anxious to see how it goes because I can totally do 25 minutes a day. Anybody can! I will report my progress here (including before/after photos and measurements) to share with you!
I’m also planning on doing a home gym video tour and posting it up on the blog. I’m hoping to get it done next week when things aren’t so chaotic around here. We recently added a few fun items and I can’t wait to share!
