Going through the motions will get you nowhere. And why are you working out if you’re not enjoying it? Is it because it’s planted in your brain that working out is the devil? Or could it be that you haven’t found the right workout for you yet? You won’t get much out of ANY workout if you just go through the motions.
Ever heard the phrase “Pressure makes diamonds”? If you want to see a real change in your body and if you want REAL results, then you need to CHALLENGE your body. You won’t get there by going through the motions.
If you’re struggling with a workout, either because it’s not interesting to you, or because it may be too advanced or too intense, don’t be afraid to back off and choose something else. The most important thing you can do when it comes to workouts is to choose something that you ENJOY! Not sure what you enjoy?? Try different things to figure it out! Sure, your preferences and interests will change from time to time and that’s OKAY. FIND something that INTERESTS you RIGHT NOW and you’ll be good to go!
