You Can’t Run and Stay Mad [+ A Treadmill Workout]

Today didn’t start off very well at all. I attempted sleep last night without a sleep aid and that was a terrible mistake. I got about 3 minutes of sleep. When you’re already having a hard time, lack of sleep doesn’t help! I was really emotional and just felt fragile from the time I woke up until I saw my husband’s face after he walked in the door from work. When I’m weak, he gives me strength just by looking {Read More}

Hi there and welcome to Thursday! Wait, it’s Thursday already? I feel like the last two weeks have gone by super fast. I guess that means spring will get here pretty quick, right? It’s 18 below zero right now so that’s what I’m hoping. I really hope it’s warmer where you are! I wanted to pop on to share a workout with you that I decided to try yesterday and ended up loving. Yesterday was originally supposed to be some type of cardio HIIT workout {Read More}

State Fair Day! State Fair Day! I! Can’t! Wait! Today is Workout Wednesday and there will be no slacking just because it’s fair day. I’m so committed aren’t I? It’s a beautiful thing and I like to enjoy it while it lasts. My hamstrings are still a teeny bit sore from my last Body Beast Legs workout so I figured a good HIIT workout would be good for them rather than attempting my scheduled Leg workout. I could just walk {Read More}

It’s Easter morning and to get the day started off right I did one of my favorite HIIT workouts! I can tell it’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these but still pulled it off at 10% incline! 25 minutes on the treadmill, as follows: Happy Easter!! I hope you’re able to enjoy your day with family and friends. :)

3/27 & 3/29: Cardio, Abs and Leg Workout

Today’s post consists of 2 days worth of workouts, cardio/abs and legs, because I forgot to post the workout I did on Saturday, so I’ve just combined the two workouts into one post. I had scaled back on my leg workout this week. I’ve been doing deadlifts twice a week and it’s really helped to strengthen and build my hamstrings, but I still want to be able to fit into my pants! So I skipped deadlifts today and from now {Read More}

1/5 Workout: Steady State Cardio

I actually did this workout yesterday, but then forgot to post it. Yesterday was the very first time I have ever attempted to do a cardio workout first thing in the morning. My husband was working and my mother-in-law was watching our little people (the kids<3) for us during the day so I tried to get as much done as possible. Wow. Running in the morning was very difficult for me. I wanted it to end before I reached the {Read More}

12/28: Cardio Workout (Steady State)

Today was my first workout in 12 days. Whooooops! Christmas definitely got in the way for me these past few days. Shopping, wrapping, cleaning, baking and decorating wiped me out. Since we got over 12″ of snow I did get to shovel a couple times though. That has to count for something right? Since I didn’t workout, I also made sure to really pay attention to what I was eating at family get-togethers. I kept portions down to a minimum {Read More}
